Meticulously hand-sculpted high fired stoneware/ceramic clay and glaze.
Stoneware | William Gaudinez | Philippines
My sculptures stem from a vivid dialog with the materials I use (generally hard woods). From an impulse that reaches out for an encounter and by which it is modified, amazed, surprised and finds new and unexpected paths. They are inspired by nature's creative forces, the human body, and the kingdoms of nature, as the most marvelous piece of art, and from which everything flows. That is why organic prevails in my art and most of my pieces depict rare fauna.
